Jack Petersen

Jack Petersen is a Founding and Managing Partner of Summit Trail Advisors. As Managing Partner, Jack provides Summit Trail a stable and efficient business environment. Prior to founding Summit Trail, he was the Managing Director and Investment Representative in the Americas for the Wealth and Investment Management division of Barclays. Jack had joined Barclays in September 2008 as part of the acquisition by Barclays of Lehman Brothers Private Investment Management business in the Americas, a negotiation in which he played a critical role. Jack was Lehman Brothers Global Head of Private Investment Management at the time, having risen to that post after joining Lehman Brothers in 2003, and holding the titles of National Sales Manager and U.S. Head of Private Investment Management. From 1993 to 2003, he was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, and before attending business school, Jack worked as a Marketing Representative for IBM in Minneapolis.
